The Heritage Festival is a family oriented event designed to provide a safe and fun-filled day for citizens of all ages and cultures. There will be entertainment, games for youth, food vendors, arts & crafts, and more!

This year our featured Artists will be Leela James, Evelyn Champagne King, Ronnie Bell, Wendell B, as well as other local/regional artists! 
The event will also recognize several distinguished local figures, such as: Dr. David Satcher (Former Surgeon General); Dr. Barbara Boyd (State Representative), Freedom Riders Committee Member Mr. Charles Person, Freedom Rider Mr. Hank Thomas, Freedom Rider Mrs. Ruby Evans (Retired Educator and Organizer of the Juneteenth and Heritage Festival) Mrs. Georgia Calhoun (Retired Educator and Organizer of the Black History Festival and Freedom Riders Committee Member), and Mrs. Teresia Hall (Educator and Freedom Riders Committee Member).
