Jacksonville, AL – Hosted by the Jacksonville State University Department of Art and Design on July 28th the 2023 Calhoun County Community Art Show will open from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Jacksonville State University. The annual Calhoun County Community Art Show is an opportunity for individuals in Calhoun County to enter their work into a juried exhibition. Hosted by the Jacksonville Arts Council and the JSU Department of Art & Design, this show serves to bring together the community through creativity.
Entry was open to current residents of Calhoun County Alabama. This included Anniston, Jacksonville, Ohatchee, Piedmont, Weaver, Alexandria, White Plains, Southside, Oxford, and all communities within these cities. Artists were able to submit up to three entries.
Ages 16 & up were eligible for the juried portion of the show.
