Local Calhoun County Youths Win Awards at State Livestock Show

Madelyne Tallent of Calhoun County exhibited the Fourth Place Overall Crossbred Breeding Gilt at the Jr. Livestock Expo Swine Show March 14 in Montgomery. The contest was conducted by the Alabama Farmers Federation and held in conjunction with the Southeastern Livestock Expo. Federation Executive Director Paul Pinyan presented the awards. The judge was A.J. Genter from Ohio.
