Oxford, AL – The Oxford Performing Arts Center will host “ABBA-Mania” on Friday at 7:30 p.m., bringing a live tribute performance celebrating the music of the iconic Swedish pop group ABBA to Oxford.
According to event information released by the venue, the show will feature live performances of ABBA hits including “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” and “Waterloo.” Organizers describe the production as an all-ages tribute concert designed to recreate the sound and stage presence of the original group.
The production highlights authentic costumes created by the “Mamma Mia” seamstress, along with choreography, comedy, and multiple costume changes throughout the performance. Event organizers state the show includes 22 ABBA songs and focuses on recreating the band’s signature harmonies and concert-style atmosphere.
