OXFORD, AL — Oxford Parks and Recreation will host its Stars & Stripes Party on June 15 from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 401 McCullars Lane in Oxford.
The event is designed for children ages 5–12 and will feature patriotic-themed activities as part of the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration.
According to event organizers, participants will receive a light meal and have the opportunity to take part in crafts, hands-on activities, games, and group events. Children will also receive a digital keepsake photo and enjoy a special appearance from Uncle Sam. Attendees will contribute to a group display that will be featured during Oxford’s Freedom Festival.
The event is supervised by Parks and Recreation staff and day camp counselors. Organizers noted that the program is a drop-off event and parents will not remain on-site during activities.
The registration fee is $12 per child. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited.
