ANNISTON, AL — The Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County will host “Conservation Through Art: Creativity in Nature,” a free program presented in partnership with Wild Alabama on June 16 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The event will take place at the Anniston library, located at 108 E. 10th St., and is open to individuals ages 16 and older.
According to event organizers, participants will explore Alabama’s natural landscapes through art, writing and close observation. The program is designed to encourage conservation awareness while introducing attendees to nature journaling techniques inspired by the natural world.
The event is free and open to the public. Organizers describe the program as an opportunity for participants to combine creativity with an appreciation for Alabama’s outdoor environments.
The session is expected to last approximately two and a half hours.
