ANNISTON, AL — Local artist Tom Hutchinson will present Faces of Anniston, a portrait exhibition celebrating members of the Anniston community, on Thursday, June 18, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Anniston City Meeting Center.
According to the event announcement, the exhibit will feature portraits created by Hutchinson and is intended to highlight the people who make up the heart of the community. The exhibition marks Hutchinson’s first undertaking of this kind and represents a personal effort to document and honor local residents through art. In the event description, Hutchinson noted that he hopes the collection will serve as a lasting representation of the community and a way to express gratitude to those who have supported him throughout his career.
The public event is free to attend. Community members are invited to view the portraits and meet others featured in the project during the four-hour exhibition.
