ANNISTON, AL — Families looking for an educational and entertaining summer activity will have the opportunity to travel back in time when “Mr. Niko Presents: Dr. Dinosaur!” visits the Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County on June 18.
The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the library, located at 108 E. 10th Street in downtown Anniston. The free public program is open to both Facebook users and non-users.

Attendees can expect a mix of education and entertainment, including a staged “battle royale” between a Tyrannosaurus rex and a Velociraptor designed to engage children while teaching about dinosaurs and fossils.
The program is being hosted by the Public Library of Anniston-Calhoun County as part of its summer programming offerings.
Library officials encourage families, children, and dinosaur enthusiasts of all ages to attend and learn more about the prehistoric creatures that once roamed the Earth.
