MONTGOMERY, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is encouraging residents and supporters across the state to participate in the American Association of State Troopers’ (AAST) 13th Annual National Best Looking Cruiser Contest by voting for Alabama’s entry.
ALEA’s 2026 contest submission features the Agency’s Chevrolet Camaro and Chevrolet Tahoe patrol vehicles displayed beneath the lights of the National Peanut Festival in Dothan. According to ALEA, the photograph highlights both Alabama pride and the work of law enforcement personnel who serve communities throughout the state.
Voting is open through Monday, July 13, at 12 p.m. (EST).
Supporters can vote by visiting:

The contest is also accessible through the American Association of State Troopers website at www.statetroopers.org and the organization’s Facebook page.
To vote, participants should browse the submitted cruiser photos, select their favorite agency from the drop-down menu, complete the CAPTCHA verification, and submit their vote. Only one vote per device is allowed during the contest.
The state agency receiving the most votes will earn the title of America’s Best Looking Cruiser and have its winning photo featured on the cover of the 2027 America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers Wall Calendar.
According to the AAST, proceeds from calendar sales support the American Association of State Troopers Foundation, which provides educational scholarships for dependents of member troopers.
ALEA is encouraging residents, visitors and supporters of Alabama law enforcement to participate in the contest and share the voting link before the deadline.
