ROCKFORD — Aiden Whitman rushed for 187 yards and three touchdowns, and Ranburne opened Class 2A, Region 4 play with a 40-16 rout of Central-Coosa.
The Bulldogs improved to 2-0 overall.
Jack Yearwood added 103 yards rushing, and Ranburne gained 49 yards on the ground.
Carson Jones connected on all four of his passes for 50 yards, and Sawyer Freed caught three passes for 31 yards and a touchdown.
Aiden Jackson and Andrew Runels had three tackles apiece, and Asher Brown defended four passes. Whitman had an interception.
