ANNISTON, AL — Sparklight will host a Customer Appreciation Wi-Fi Day on Thursday, Sept. 10, at its retail office at 606 Noble Street in Anniston. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will include free refreshments, consultations with company representatives and a raffle for a 65-inch television.
The event is intended to give new and existing residential customers an opportunity to learn about home Wi-Fi equipment and mobile service options. According to Sparklight, eligible customers who do not currently have an eero Wi-Fi router can obtain one for 99 cents per month.
Customers with internet speeds up to 600 Mbps will receive an eero Pro 6E, while Gigabit customers will receive an eero Pro 7. The company says the Pro 6E supports Wi-Fi 6E technology, including access to the 6 GHz band, while the Pro 7 supports Wi-Fi 7 and is designed to provide coverage of up to 2,000 square feet and support more than 200 connected devices.
Attendees can also learn about Sparklight Mobile. The company is offering one free unlimited mobile line for 12 months when bundled with Sparklight internet. A one-time SIM activation fee and taxes may apply.
