Jacksonville State University released that JSU student leaders joined their peers from throughout the state in Montgomery last Thursday for Higher Education Day 2022. Organized by the Higher Education Partnership, the annual event brings together Alabama’s 14 public universities for a day of advocacy at the state capitol.
The Higher Education Partnership is the official advocacy group for the state’s public, four-year universities. Its mission is to promote the importance of higher education in bettering the lives of people in Alabama. In addition to Higher Education Day, it also organizes College Colors Day, a Freshman Leadership Conference, and other events.
