- Zoning Ordinance - Lamar Sims continued to discuss the various changes and alterations to the zoning ordnances. The next meeting will be May 13, 2019 at 5:00 pm and the following on May 30, 2019.

- Acceptance of minutes - Unanimously Accepted
- Amendment to JPWP#16-101, Resurface Church Avenue - NPO did vote to increase the budget to $774,891. Our match would be an estimated $378,151.
- Resolution regarding HB61 –
- Projected cost if all changed to Tier 1 – $77,370.47
- Projected cost if only first responders changed to Tier 1 – $40,614.70
- Any Other Business –
- NPO meeting included George Douthit and Henry Road construction that was discussed last meeting. Both projects have been approved. If the project is started and then stopped the money would have to be repaid as this is federal money.
- Added to the agenda an executive session.
- One of the ambulances has a blown engine. The bill is 19,000-22,000. A brand new mother will put the time frame at 12 weeks.
- Discussion was held on options to restrict traffic on George Douthit during school times.
- The county has an approved project on Mountain Street for 2021 for that is looking toward Jacksonville as a joint project. There are no numbers as of yet.

- Consider action to accept Bid Report 19-04, Landscape Services and Bid No. 19-05, LawnCare Services at the Public Safety Complex and approve a Resolution to Award Bid No. 19-04 and Bid No. 19-05 to A & W Lawn Kare and authorize the Mayor to sign any necessary documents - Unanimously Accepted
- Consider action to accept Bid Report 19-07, for JPWP#19-101, Cast Iron Gas Main Replacement and approve a Resolution to Award Bid No. 19-07 to REV Construction, Inc., and authorize the Mayor, on behalf of the Water Works, Gas and Sewer Board, to sign any necessary documents – Unanimously Accepted
- Consider action to authorize the Mayor to sign the SiteMed Fire Agreement for On-Site Physicals for the Fire Department Employees - Unanimously Accepted

- Golden Eagles Scholars Luncheon was held on 4/23/19
- On 4/24/19 the Pinnacle Project was held at the High School
- On 4/30 at 9:00 am at the high school will be the Honor Society Induction
- The band concert will be 4/30 at 6:00 pm at the high school
- Teacher appreciation luncheon will be held at Kitty Stone on Friday from11:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Relay for life will be Sat 5/4
- Legally Blonde will be performed at the Stone Center on 5/3 and 5/4 at 7:30 pm and 5/5 at 2:30 pm
- Eagles Rising will be at 1:00 pm on 5/7 at high school
- 5/6-5/10 will also be Teach Appreciation Week
- Graduation is May 23 at the school Stadium at 8:00 pm. If it is raining alternation location will be announced.
