There are a few free tutoring services available both online and in person. Below are program and contact information.
JSU is offering free after school tutoring at the teaching/learning center. These lessons are free and taught by future teachers. The lessons are for grades K-12. Lessons will be given Monday-Thursday from 3:30-4:30 pm. These lessons will be given between September-November and February-April. Please call 256-782-5617 to register and get more information.
An online opportunity is through Homework Alabama. These tutors are available seven days a week from 3:00 – 10:00 pm. These lessons are fro grades K-college and will help with test prep. In addition they help with one on one assistance for job search from 10:00 am – 10:00 pm.
