Succulent & Pumpkin Workshop in Anniston

Succulent & Pumpkin Workshop

Anniston, AL – On Thursday, October 13th the Anniston Museums and Gardens are hosting a Succulent & Pumpkin Workshop. Join Master Gardener Patricia Patty in this fun workshop where participants will create a unique fall table centerpiece to take home. A beautiful pumpkin topped with succulents will brighten any Halloween or Thanksgiving display for up to eight weeks with proper care. Succulents can survive for long periods of time without attention and make excellent houseplants during the winter. They are also an excellent choice for outside color during the hot Alabama summers. In this workshop, you will use several colorful varieties to top your pumpkin. At the end of the season, the succulents can be potted for a wonderful container display.

This workshop is $40 per person and members receive a $5 discount. Succulents and craft supplies will be furnished, as well as hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic drinks. Registrants are required to bring their own pumpkin. Cinderella pumpkins are recommended. Registrants encouraged to bring clippers. Pre-registration is required. The program is limited to 20 people, ages 12+. To register, visit www.ExploreAMAG.org or call 256-237-6766.
