Ohatchee Seniors Celebrate Autumn

Ohatchee, AL – Members of the Ohatchee Senior Center are making the most of Autumn. They recently visited Holmestead Farm in Talladega and also painted pumpkins with local artist Judy Wolf. This week, they packed 500 treat bags for Ohatchee’s Safe Halloween planned for Monday, Oct. 31, at 5 p.m. Candy was donated by area businesses, while more than 500 drawstring bags were contributed by Fort McClellan Credit Union. Area seniors interested in getting involved at the Ohatchee center are welcome to stop by Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., where they can pick up a calendar of monthly events. The center is located behind Ohatchee City Hall off Highway 77, next door to Ohatchee Library.
