JSU in Lights

Jacksonville, AL – President Don C. and Mrs. Kristi Killingsworth have partnered with the Student Government Association once again to present the treasured campus tradition, JSU in Lights, on Thursday, Dec. 1, 5 p.m., at the President’s House.

Enjoy cookie decorating, hot chocolate and carriage rides as we light campus for the season. At 5:30 p.m., there will be a special showing of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” The event is free and open to the community. Guests are encouraged to bring a gift for youth ages 17 and younger, to be donated to the Jacksonville Christian Outreach Center.

The Jacksonville Christmas Parade will take place the same evening, starting at 6:30 p.m. near Johnson’s and traveling along Highway 21 to the Theron Montgomery Building. Bundle up and enjoy an evening celebrating the season on the Friendliest Campus in the South!

Additional holiday happenings on the horizon include a Show Choir Christmas Concert on Dec. 2, the Jax Jingle 5K on Dec. 3 and the Marching Ballerinas Kickmas on Dec. 6. Check out the JSU calendar for more information on these and other events.
