Anniston Museum Offers Two Programs on Butterflies and Moths

Anniston, AL – Two programs offered on butterflies and moths in Anniston. 

Buggin’ Out: Butterfly vs. Moth on Saturday, April 15th at 1:00 pm.

They are buggin’ out over butterflies and moths at the Anniston Museums and Gardens! Join us as we learn what makes butterflies and moths so unique. Spots, speckles, and stripes – explore these living pieces of art through hands-on examples and activities with one of the museum educators.
This program is included in museum admission and free for members.
Insect Pinning Workshop: Butterfly and Moth on Saturday, April 15th at 2:00 pm.
Would you like to begin or add to your own insect collection? Join one of the Educational Interpreters to learn how to pin and label a butterfly and a moth like a pro. This program is available for ages 10 and up. Pre-registration is required. Limited to 15 people.
This workshop is $15/person, and AM&G members receive a $5 discount. Workshop is limited to 15 people and is perfect for ages 10 and up. Pre-registration is required. Last day to register is Friday, April 14.
