Piedmont, AL – During the Tuesday afternoon Piedmont City Council Meeting Mayor Baker told the Council that the total expenses are $ 291,050.30 cents.
Mayor Baker also told the Council about The Tree City USA Proclamation where the City of Piedmont will start planting Trees again.
The City Clerk Carl Hinton spoke about the Zoning Board of Adjustments with the Council appointing Phillip Pope, Ricky Freeman, Chad Latta, and Mack Singleton to serve on the board.
Kathy Word and Shelia Cochran were reappointed to the Library Board.
In visitors comments a Piedmont Resident nicknamed Peter “The Patriot” chastised the Council about the previous topics in the past few weeks. They said it was the best ever.
The next Piedmont City Council meeting will be Tuesday December 12th
