Possible Drowning Incident Sparks Search Effort in Calhoun County

Calhoun County, AL – A marine-related incident that occurred on Thursday, March 14, at approximately 9:30 p.m., has led to a search for a missing individual in Calhoun County. The incident unfolded in the 100 Block of Lake Shore Lane, located in Ohatchee, within Calhoun County, raising concerns of a potential drowning in Neely Henry Lake.

Troopers from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Marine Patrol Division swiftly responded to the scene upon receiving reports of an individual possibly falling into the waters of Neely Henry Lake.
