Oxford, AL – Calling all young explorers and curious minds! The Oxford Alabama Public Library invites you to embark on a journey of discovery at the upcoming Picture Book Club event, where we will delve into the fascinating world of Thomas Edison.
Scheduled for Wednesday, May 1st, at 10:15 am, this engaging event will take place in the Community Room of the Oxford Alabama Public Library, located at 110 E 6th Street. This month, our theme revolves around the remarkable Thomas Edison, whose inventive genius illuminated the world with groundbreaking innovations. Through the pages of “A Wizard from the Start” by Don Brown, young readers will journey through Edison’s life, from his humble beginnings to his revolutionary inventions that transformed the way we live.
Geared toward ages 6-12, but open to all who are young at heart, the Picture Book Club promises an enriching and interactive experience for attendees.
