Anniston Museums and Gardens invites you to an exciting and educational event showcasing the diverse fauna housed within the Anniston Museum of Natural History. Join us on Saturday, May 11th, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm for the Animal Ambassador Program—an engaging opportunity to meet and learn about some of our fascinating live reptiles, mammals, and birds.

Located at 800 Museum Drive in Anniston, Alabama, the Anniston Museums and Gardens serve as a hub for exploration and discovery, offering visitors a glimpse into the wonders of the natural world. As part of our ongoing commitment to education and conservation, we are delighted to present this special event on the 2nd Saturday of each month.

Bear and Sons

During the Animal Ambassador Program, guests will have the chance to interact with one of our animal ambassadors up close and personal. From slithering snakes to majestic birds of prey, each month brings a new and exciting creature for attendees to meet. Whether you’re curious about reptilian adaptations, mammalian behavior, or avian anatomy, our knowledgeable staff will be on hand to provide fascinating insights and answer any questions you may have.

This engaging program is suitable for individuals of all ages and is an ideal family-friendly activity for nature enthusiasts. Whether you’re a seasoned wildlife enthusiast or simply curious about the natural world, the Animal Ambassador Program offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature in a meaningful way.
