Anniston, AL — Following the disruption caused by severe weather during last week’s Electronics Recycling Drive, the event has been rescheduled and will take place later this month. The new date for the drive is set for Thursday, May 30th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The community is encouraged to participate in this initiative, making it a part of their spring cleaning efforts.
The event will be held at 1702 Noble Street, with parking available in the rear lot of the County Administration building. Residents are invited to bring a variety of old and unused electronics for recycling, including computers, laptops, cell phones, TVs, cables, projectors, and wires.
This recycling drive provides an excellent opportunity for residents to responsibly dispose of electronic waste, contributing to environmental sustainability and community cleanliness.
For any questions regarding the event, individuals can contact the organizers at 256-237-1621. The organizers look forward to a successful turnout and appreciate the community’s support in this important recycling effort.
