Memorial Day

Anniston, AL – The 34th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Centennial Memorial Park in Anniston was a moving and poignant event, marked by heartfelt tributes and deep reverence for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation. Despite initial concerns about the weather, the rains cleared, allowing the ceremony to proceed under clear skies, much to the relief and gratitude of the attendees.

Senator Kelley, spoke to the Calhoun Journal, and stressed the profound significance of Memorial Day. “Memorial Day is a holy day to honor those that not only gave the ultimate sacrifice, but also their families who also sacrificed. I’m thankful for all who have come out to this important day.”
