Jacksonville State University Prepares for 47th Annual Spirit Camp

Jacksonville, AL – Jacksonville State University is gearing up for its upcoming 47th Annual Spirit Camp, scheduled to run from June 18th to June 22nd. Hosted by Camp Directors Freddy and Lynda Martin, the camp offers an immersive experience tailored for drum majors, band leadership staff, and participants.

Led by a team of experienced instructors including David Coheley, John Lawless, Chris Martin, Michael Martin, Josh Ray, Jesse Madden, Dan Martin, David Vandewalker, Corey Newton, Trenton Strickland, Brandon Dailey, and Theresa Wiley, the camp promises comprehensive training and mentorship throughout the week.

Band Director Clinics will be a daily feature, providing invaluable insights and guidance to enhance participants’ leadership and musical skills. An exciting highlight of the camp includes special appearances and joint performances with Spirit of Atlanta, enriching the overall learning experience.

Registration is ongoing and available online at the Spirit Camp website, with in-person registration also accepted on June 18th at Jacksonville State University.
