Anniston Museum and Gardens to Host Tomato Tasting Event

Anniston, AL – The Anniston Museum and Gardens invites the community to a delightful summer event, the Tomato Tasting, on Thursday, July 18, at 5:00 PM. Held at the Longleaf Event Center, this event promises to be a new favorite for tomato enthusiasts and gardeners alike.

Participants will have the chance to sample a variety of tomatoes, explore new types, and enjoy homemade recipes featuring this versatile fruit. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own tomatoes for tasting or to enter them in the tomato contests.

All attendees will have the opportunity to vote in several fun categories, including “The Prettiest,” “The Ugliest,” “The Most Unusual,” and “The Largest” tomato. This interactive event aims to celebrate the diversity and unique characteristics of tomatoes grown by local gardeners.

The Tomato Tasting event costs $10 per registrant and $5 for Anniston Museum and Gardens members. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or simply enjoy good food, this event offers a great opportunity to connect with fellow tomato lovers and enjoy a flavorful evening.
