Washington D.C. – U.S. Representative Mike Rogers (AL-03) has been honored as a 2024 “Hero of Main Street” by the National Retail Federation (NRF) for his efforts to support and maintain a robust retail industry at the federal level. This recognition is based on his voting record, bill sponsorship, and advocacy on behalf of the retail sector.
In Alabama, the retail industry is a significant economic driver, directly contributing nearly $60 billion to the state’s annual gross domestic product and supporting 760,000 jobs. Rep. Rogers has been an active advocate for local retailers, emphasizing their importance to the economy and community well-being.
