Redbird Willow Farm Set to Poen for first day of Fall

Anniston, AL – Fall is around the corner, and with it comes the highly anticipated opening of the Redbird Willow Farm Pumpkin Patch, located at 1103 Lenlock Lane. The community is invited to join the festivities starting this Sunday, September 22, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The patch will be open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until October 26, offering a wide range of activities for families and visitors of all ages.

The Pumpkin Patch will feature over 100 animals for self-guided viewing, along with a variety of fun fall activities. Visitors can enjoy:

Bear and Sons
  • Stick Pony Corral: Let the little ones lasso a pony head on a stick.
  • Pumpkin Bowling: A unique twist on bowling, set up among the hay bales.
  • Hay Slide & Hay Mountain: Perfect for kids to slide and climb.
  • Maze & Corn Crib: Explore and play in the corn crib and hay maze.
  • Pumpkin Checkers & Pumpkin Tic Tac Toe: Classic games with a seasonal twist.
  • Mining for Gems: A fun way to discover treasures.
  • Pumpkin Painting: Bring your creativity and decorate your own pumpkin.
  • Photo Opportunities: Capture fall memories with beautiful seasonal backgrounds.

Picnic tables are available for those looking to relax, and concessions will be on-site, along with a gift shop featuring fall-themed and Christmas items.

Admission is $12 for anyone aged 2 and older, while children under 2 and veterans can enjoy the event for free. The price includes access to all activities except for pumpkins and concessions. The pumpkin patch offers a range of pumpkin sizes at affordable prices, including heirloom varieties priced at $12 and up, large pumpkins at $8, medium at $6, small at $5, and mini pumpkins at 3 for $2.50.

Owner Michele Hornsby shared that Redbird Willow Farm will also host a Halloween Party on October 26, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., featuring live music, vendors, and food trucks. This event marks the end of the season and is expected to draw over 1,000 attendees.

“We are excited to welcome the community to our pumpkin patch again this year,” said Hornsby. “We’ve got new and returning activities, and we’re thrilled to offer a fun, affordable experience for families. We hope everyone comes out to enjoy the season with us.”

In addition to regular activities, a train and wagon ride will be available for $2.50 for unlimited rides on either the train or wagon or $5 for unlimited rides on both. Hornsby also announced that local food trucks such as Wooten’s Easy Eatery and Big Boy’s Wings will be present throughout the season, offering delicious options for visitors.

Businesses interested in supporting the pumpkin patch can purchase a $250 sponsorship package, which includes an 18×24 outdoor sign and six free farm passes. The sponsorship will run through the Halloween party and will be seen by hundreds of visitors each weekend.

Redbird Willow Farm promises to deliver a fun-filled fall for everyone in the community. No appointments are necessary, so grab your family and friends and head over for a memorable day in the crisp autumn air.
