Weaver, AL – Benjamin leads balanced effort as Weaver boys top White Plains. Saks girls score victory over Hokes Bluff.

Phoxton Benjamin led four Weaver players in double figures with 14 points, and the Bearcats beat visiting White Plains 56-44 on Friday.

Kaden Gooden added 13 points, including three 3-pointers. KeShawn Allen scored 11 points, and Harper Williams added 10.

White Plains’ Bryson Cheatwood scored all of his team-high 10 points in the third quarter, with two 3-pointers, and Harper Hall hit three threes en route to nine points.

Girls

SAKS 60, HOKES BLUFF 54: Madison Turner turned in 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead Saks’ girls to a victory over visiting Hokes Bluff.

Sania Angel added 17 points, with two 3-pointers, and Alonna Crews scored 15 points.
