Jacksonville, AL –Jacksonville State University is set to brighten the holiday season with its annual Jax State in Lights, a cherished campus tradition taking place on Monday, December 2, at the President’s House. The festivities will run from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m., with the official lighting ceremony kicking off at 5:00 p.m.
Hosted by President Don C. Killingsworth and Mrs. Kristi Killingsworth, this magical evening will feature a lineup of holiday activities, including cookies, hot chocolate, horse and carriage rides, and a spirited Christmas sweater contest. Attendees are invited to join in the festive fun and soak up the warm camaraderie of the Jax State community.
Guests are encouraged to bring the holiday spirit to life by donating board games, books, or toys to benefit the Jacksonville Christian Outreach Center (JCOC), ensuring that the joy of giving reaches those in need.
Special appearances by Cocky, the JSU cheerleaders, the Student Government Association, and Ambassadors will add an extra touch of excitement to the event.
