Anniston, AL — In the early hours of December 5, 2024, the Anniston Police Department responded to a vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident in the 4100 block of McClellan Boulevard. According to a report from Lieutenant Brockman, officers were dispatched at approximately 4:51 A.M.
Upon arrival, authorities determined that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle traveling in the southbound lanes. The victim was identified as 52-year-old Lover Davis, a resident of Anniston. Tragically, Ms. Davis was pronounced deceased at the scene.
