Anniston, AL — On December 14, 2024, a heartfelt ceremony will take place at the Fort McClellan Military Cemetery to honor the over 400 fallen soldiers and their families resting there. Beginning at 11:00 a.m. (Central Time), this event is part of Wreaths Across America, a nationwide initiative dedicated to remembering and honoring veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths and the act of saying each veteran’s name aloud.
The ceremony, themed REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom, invites the community to come together in a powerful display of respect and gratitude. Following the reading of names, volunteers will place a Remembrance wreath on each headstone, ensuring that no hero is forgotten.
