Heflin, AL – Stephens’ 3-pointer lifts Munford boys. Gooden, Allen lead Weaver past Randolph County. Ohatchee, Coosa Christian boys victorious.
Lathan Stephens hit a 3-pointer with 1.2 seconds left, and Munford’s boys edged Cleburne County 58-57 on the road Thursday.
The game-winning three was Stephens’ third three of the game and lifted him to a team-high 19 points. B.J. Anderson hit three threes on the way to 17 points, and Kyle Shaw hit two threes while scoring eight points.
Munford (4-4) hit eight threes overall.
Cleburne County’s Lyric Ware led all scorers with 25 points, hitting three 3-pointers. He scored all 25 points in the second half, 18 in the fourth quarter.
Matthew Wilson added 14 points, and Cavin Bates added 13.
WEAVER 67, RANDOLPH COUNTY 35: Kaden Gooden hit three 3-pointers en route to a team-high 21 points, and Weaver’s boys beat Randolph County 67-35 on Thursday.
KeShawn Allen also hit three 3-pointers and scored 16 points, and Weaver got 15 points from D.J. Marbury.
Randolph County’s Braden Reaves hit three threes on the way to a team-high 13 points, and C.J. Johnson added 11.
OHATCHEE 59, CEDAR BLUFF 49: Ohatchee’s Jake Roberson 21 led all scorers with 21 points, and the Indians won on the road.
Ohatchee also got 13 points from Colby Hester and 11 from Alston Carroll.
Shon Gleen paced Cedar Bluff with 15 points, and Zach Jones added 11.
COOSA CHRISTIAN 50, PLEASANT VALLEY 41: Kylen Johnson led the Conquerors to victory with 18 points. D.J. Mackey added eight points, and Jaxon Peek scored six points as Coosa Christian improved to 4-0.
Pleasant Valley got 22 points from Hunter Sparks and eight from Braxton Salster.

CEDAR BLUFF 41, OHATCHEE 34: Kylie Vadon scored a game-high 17 points as Cedar Bluff won at home. Caley Bruce added eight points and Ciana Smith seven.
Greenlee Orman led Ohatchee with 10 points, and Lindsey Zurchin added eight, including two 3-pointers.
