Anniston, AL – The City of Anniston is spreading holiday cheer with the return of the Anniston Changers Bell Ringing event! This year, Anniston Changers is partnering with the Salvation Army to help make the season brighter for families in need.
The event will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Walmart Anniston (5560 McClellan Blvd, Anniston, AL 36206) from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM CT. Volunteers will ring bells at the entrances of Walmart, encouraging shoppers to make a difference by donating to the Salvation Army’s annual holiday campaign.
Each volunteer will sign up for a one-hour shift, with one volunteer stationed at each entrance to greet shoppers. Time slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and those interested in volunteering can register online at www.annistonal.gov/anniston-changers. If a preferred time slot is already filled, volunteers will be contacted to coordinate another time.
