Talladega, AL – The Veterans Off-Road Riders (VOR), in partnership with King of the Deep, will host their end-of-year New Year’s Veterans Ride on Friday, December 27th, from 9:00 p.m. to midnight at Top Trails ATV Park. The event promises an evening of camaraderie, adventure, and appreciation for the nation’s veterans.
This guided ride, designed for medium skill levels, is open to all vehicles and serves as an opportunity to meet the VOR committee and learn more about their mission to honor and support veterans. Participants are encouraged to bring as many veterans as possible, and the organization has committed to finding a ride for anyone without a vehicle.
The evening will kick off with line-up at 9:00 p.m. at the VOR bunker (4i). At 9:15 p.m., attendees will hear a brief speech expressing gratitude to veterans for their service and sacrifice. The ride will begin shortly after, tentatively departing around 9:30 p.m.
In addition to the guided ride, VOR will have a tent set up in the Vendor area throughout the weekend to promote their mission and offer merchandise for sale.
“This event is not just about the thrill of the ride; it’s about coming together as a community to thank the heroes who have dedicated their lives to protecting our country,” said a VOR representative.
The Veterans Ride is a meaningful way to close out the year, offering participants a chance to connect with the veteran community while enjoying the scenic trails at Top Trails ATV Park.
