Jacksonville to Host Twelfth Night Performances with a New Orleans Twist

Twelfth Night Community

Jacksonville, AL — Experience the magic of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night with a vibrant twist as The Shakespeare Project presents a series of community performances at Jacksonville State University’s Stone Center. This year’s rendition reimagines the classic tale in 1915 New Orleans, just after a hurricane, during the early days of jazz and prior to women gaining the right to vote.

Audiences will be swept into a world of confusion, revelry, and fun in this abridged, hour-and-thirty-minute adaptation of one of Shakespeare’s most beloved comedies. The performances are free to attend, with donations warmly appreciated to support future productions.
