Jacksonville, AL – The Jacksonville State University community is coming together to help provide beds for children in need through the 2025 Annual Bed Build, taking place on Saturday, March 1, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. This heartwarming event is hosted by Sleep in Heavenly Peace – AL, Gadsden, in partnership with Lambda Sigma Beta Pi and JSU students.
Participants will join efforts to build beds for local children who lack a proper place to sleep. No prior experience is required, as volunteers will receive guidance and instruction throughout the process. Tools and materials will be provided, so all you need to bring is a willingness to help.
This public event is open to anyone in the community who is interested in lending a hand. Volunteers are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early for check-in and to be assigned to their stations.
