Anniston, AL – Garden enthusiasts and horticulture experts alike will gather for the 7th Annual Spring Garden Symposium and Plant Sale, hosted by the Anniston Museums and Gardens on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 920 Museum Drive, Anniston, AL 36206.
The Spring Garden Symposium will offer a full day of expert presentations on plant selection, climate adaptation, and garden sustainability. This year’s Keynote Speaker is bestselling author and horticulturist Brie Arthur, who will share insights on gardening in a changing climate. Additional guest speakers will cover topics including new zone maps, preparing for extreme weather, and innovative gardening techniques.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts, meet experienced professionals, and tour the Longleaf Botanical Gardens’ Sensory Garden with knowledgeable docents. The symposium includes complimentary coffee and lunch for those registered by March 14.

In addition to the symposium, the Plant Sale will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Longleaf Event Center. A variety of plants will be available for purchase from the Longleaf Botanical Gardens and local nurseries, alongside garden-themed merchandise from small businesses. No symposium registration is required to shop.
