About The Calhoun County Journal
The Calhoun County Journal was started with the desire to post news, events, and other important information without the need for readers to pay for a subscription. All of our articles are listed online and are 100% free to access at any time.
It is our belief to write each of our pieces without bias or to slant readers towards a particular view. We strive to write the information and let the reader take away what they choose. This method of writing is reminiscent of the Walter Cronkite era of reporting and we strive to deliver our content in the same manner.
The Calhoun County Journal reporters are currently all volunteers who are community conscious and want to help get information out to the residents of Calhoun County. From attending the various city council meetings to listing local events, each of our writers work hard to remain impartial in the way they write.
