JACKSONVILLE, AL – The Jacksonville Public Library will host a special program titled Sherry Blanton’s Gifts from the Garden on Saturday, June 28th at 10 a.m. Located at 200 Pelham Rd S, Jacksonville, AL 36265, the session will feature local Master Gardener Sherry Blanton.
Blanton will explore how gardening influences the lives and work of notable figures, including former University of Georgia football coach Vince Dooley and Auburn University icon Pat Dye. Her talk will delve into how tending to plants shaped their leadership, creativity, and connection to community allevents.in.
Attendees are advised that doors will close 15 minutes after the event begins, so punctuality is encouraged. The program is free and open to the public, with no registration required.
