ANNISTON, AL – The Anniston Museums and Gardens will offer a unique opportunity for nature lovers and aspiring artists during its Tree Ring Art Workshop on Saturday, August 2, at 11:00 a.m. The hands-on event invites participants to create one-of-a-kind prints using real tree rings, providing a blend of artistic expression and natural history.

Attendees will learn how to prepare wood cross-sections, apply ink, and press them onto paper to reveal the intricate patterns that tell the story of each tree’s growth over time. The workshop introduces basic printmaking techniques and encourages exploration of how nature and art intersect.
