Anniston, AL – Anniston Museums and Gardens is inviting the community to step into a world of riddles, secrets, and adventure with its upcoming Medieval Escape Room on Saturday, August 30, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Berman Museum.
The event places participants inside a castle setting, where a heavy oak door has closed behind them, and escape before dawn is the only way to avoid capture. Legends hint at a hidden passage, but uncovering it requires clever thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Guests will face cryptic scrolls, puzzling riddles, and hidden clues in a race against time.
Each session costs $60 per group of two to six participants, with a $5 discount available for Anniston Museums and Gardens members. The program is open to participants ages 12 and older, though children ages 12 to 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult. Pre-registration is required, and admission to the Berman Museum’s exhibit galleries is not included in the escape room fee.
The Medieval Escape Room experience offers a unique opportunity for families, friends, and groups to enjoy an interactive challenge together while exploring the historic atmosphere of the museum’s setting.
