ANNISTON, AL — Families and fans of all ages are invited to experience a unique blend of nature and imagination at the upcoming Saturday Alive! Pokémon Edition, hosted by Anniston Museums and Gardens. The event takes place Saturday, September 27, at 1:00 p.m. on Museum Drive in Anniston.
Inspired by the creatures of the Pokémon universe, the program connects popular fan favorites with their real-world animal counterparts. Visitors will have the chance to meet live animal ambassadors—from speedy reptiles to clever birds—and discover the remarkable traits that inspired some of the most recognizable Pokémon.
The program is included with regular museum admission and is free to Anniston Museums and Gardens members. Organizers emphasize that the experience is designed to both entertain and educate, showcasing how the natural world can be just as magical as the imaginative worlds of games and television.
With hands-on learning opportunities and close encounters with wildlife, Saturday Alive! Pokémon Edition aims to foster appreciation for biodiversity while connecting it to popular culture.
