Beyond their accolades, Weaver’s band continues to stand out for its size and participation rate. Despite having an overall school enrollment of approximately 450 students (grades 7–12), the Weaver Band includes 143 members in grades 8–12, meaning nearly 40% of the school’s upper grades participate in the marching program.
This level of involvement makes Weaver’s band one of the largest in Calhoun County—second only to Oxford High School. In many competitions, Weaver competes against schools several times its size, yet continues to achieve statewide recognition through exceptional performance and student commitment.
