Jacksonville, AL – Jacksonville Parks & Recreation will host a free community event titled Craft for a Cause on Monday, December 22, 2025, offering residents an opportunity to combine creativity with community service.
The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at 501 Alexandria Road SW in Jacksonville, AL, and participants are welcome to stop by at any point during the two-hour window.
During Craft for a Cause, attendees will create handmade cards, ornaments, and small gifts that will be distributed to local nursing homes, outreach centers, blessing boxes, and other community organizations. All crafting supplies will be provided, though organizers are also accepting optional supply donations from those who wish to contribute specific items.
The event is designed to be informal and accessible, encouraging community members of all ages to participate, connect with one another, and help spread holiday cheer through simple acts of kindness.
