Coffee with a Cop Brings Community Conversation to Music City Bagels in Oxford

Coffee with a Cop – Music City Bagels

OXFORD, AL — Community members are invited to take part in an informal conversation with local law enforcement during Coffee with a Cop, scheduled for Friday, January 16, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Music City Bagels, located at 101 Hamric Drive East in Oxford.

The event is hosted by the Calhoun County Area Chamber & Visitor’s Center in partnership with the Oxford Police Department and the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.

Designed as a relaxed, come-as-you-are gathering, Coffee with a Cop offers residents, business owners, and local leaders the opportunity to engage directly with law enforcement officers in a casual setting. Organizers emphasize that the event is not structured around speeches or formal presentations, but instead focuses on open conversation, relationship-building, and community connection.

Attendees are encouraged to stop by for coffee, bagels, and dialogue, using the time to ask questions, share ideas, or simply get to know the officers who serve the area. The event is scheduled to last one hour.
