Event planners project that the show will again rank among the largest outdoor boat shows in Alabama. Visitors will have the opportunity to board and explore a variety of watercraft, including bass boats, pontoons, tritoons, wake boats and additional models. The expo will also feature personal watercraft, ATVs and other recreational land vehicles available for hands-on viewing.

AmFirst, the event’s presenting sponsor, will host a mobile financing station on-site throughout the weekend. Organizers stated that net proceeds from the show will benefit the AmFirst Community First Initiative, which supports local charitable organizations.

Show director Johnathon Burton said the new location is expected to bring a different experience for attendees.
“If you think you’ve seen everything the Alabama Boat Show has to offer in the past, think again! Hosting the event at the Shops of Grand River is a game-changer. Food and drink, shopping, family fun—this year will have an all-new energy, and you’ve got to see it for yourself,” Burton said.

Visitors will also be encouraged to explore retail and dining options at the Shops of Grand River during the event. Additional attractions nearby include FUNBOX, described as the world’s largest bounce park, which will operate adjacent to the show, and the Grand River Drive-In, where guests can attend evening movies.

Daily giveaways will return for the 2026 show. The first 100 children ages 12 and under each day will receive a free youth fishing rod and reel, courtesy of the Alabama Bass Trail Tournament Series. One rod per child may be picked up at AmFirst’s booth while supplies last.

The Alabama Boat Show and Expo is an annual not-for-profit event showcasing watercraft, recreational vehicles and accessories related to the outdoor lifestyle. Its mission includes supporting the AmFirst Community First Initiative through donated proceeds.
