Oxford Police Arrest Two Following Shooting at Quintard Mall

OXFORD, AL — The Oxford Police Department has announced two arrests connected to the recent shooting incident at Quintard Mall.

According to the department, Lecroy Derron Wallace Jr., 20, of Talladega, has been arrested and charged with Attempted Murder in relation to the shooting.

A second individual, Malachi Zymere Taylor, 19, of Anniston, has been arrested on a bond revocation and faces additional charges of Reckless Endangerment and Disorderly Conduct. Authorities said bonds for those charges are yet to be set.

In a statement addressing the arrests, the Oxford Police Department emphasized its commitment to public safety.
