Anniston, AL – The City of Anniston will host its annual Youth Summer Job Fair on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at the Carver Community Center, located at 720 W. 14th St. The event is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. and is designed to connect local youth with seasonal employment opportunities while also providing guidance on the application process.
The job fair is open to individuals ages 16 through college and will feature several summer employment opportunities with the City. Positions available include Day Camp Director, Day Camp Counselor, Lifeguard, Turf Care Worker, and Program Aide.
City officials have also announced that all summer job applications will be available from March 29, 2026, through April 12, 2026, giving interested applicants a designated window to apply following the event.
In addition to highlighting available positions, the job fair will offer practical assistance to attendees, including tips on completing job applications and preparing for interviews. The event aims to help young job seekers better understand the hiring process and improve their chances of securing employment.
Pay for the listed positions will range from $13 to $17 per hour, depending on the role and qualifications.
