JACKSONVILLE 3, ALEXANDRIA 1: John Ducar pitched a complete game, allowing six hits, two walks and no earned runs with six strikeouts, and Jacksonville improved to 7-7.

Parker Moore went 1-for-2 with two RBIs. Javian Fomby went 2-for-2 with two runs, and Luke Richardson went 1-for-3 with a double.

Alexandria’s Cooper Smith went 3-for-4, and Garrett Haynes went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Cam Johnson pitched two perfect innings of relief, and Caleb Frazier allowed four hits, two earned runs and a walk in four innings.

PIEDMONT 12-10, PLAINVIEW 3-5: The Bulldogs, ranked No. 1 in Class 3A, swept a doubleheader and improved to 12-3.

Carson Cleveland went 3-for-3 with a double and four RBIs in the first game, and Brenan Hurst went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs, and the Bulldogs got a single and two RBIs apiece from Alex Bass and Charlie Sparks.

Carson Sanders had an RBI and three runs, and Eli Johnson had an RBI and two runs. Ben Dempsey and Aliandre Wright each singled with an RBI.

Cole Austin got the win, allowing four hits, two walks and one earned run with seven strikeouts in six innings.

Cleveland went 3-for-4 with a triple, double and three RBIs in the second game, and Austin went 2-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs.

Jaxon Howard singled with a run and an RBI, and Carson Sanders singled with an RBI.

HANDLEY 14, WADLEY 4: Zae Dunson went 1-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs, and Handley improved to 8-7. Kaleb Powel went 1-for-3 with three RBIs and a run.

Christian Estes went 1-for-2 with a double, two runs and an RBI, and Cole Davis went 1-for-3 with three runs and an RBI. Luke Murr went 1-for-4 with two runs and an RBI.

Skylar Hester got the win, allowing four hits, three walks and two earned runs with six strikeouts in three innings.

Wadley’s Dekevion Staples went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs, and Damarious Spraddling went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

HOKES BLUFF 14, SPRING GARDEN 4: Bray Bearden went 4-for-5 with a double, four RBIs and three runs, and Hokes Bluff upped to 9-7.

Drew McCarver doubled while going 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs. Micah Brasher homered while going 1-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs, and Brayden Davis went 1-for-3 with three RBIs and a run.

Tanner Rutledge got the win, allowing three hits, three earned runs and one walk with one strikeout in three innings.

Spring Garden’s Joel Hunter went 1-for-2 with a double and two runs, and Brady Ruark went 1-for-2 with a run and an RBI.

RANBURNE 6, BOWDON (GA.) 1: Asher Brown pitched a complete game, allowing five hits with 10 strikeouts and a walk, and Ranburne improved to 12-4-1.

Colton Johnson tripled with an RBI and a run. Drew Davenport and Sam Davenport each had a single and an RBI.

WESTBROOK CHRISTIAN 14, ARAB 0: Jacob Maples went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs, and Brodie Johnson went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run as Westbrook improved to 7-6.

Brady Ryan went 1-for-1 with a double, two runs and two RBIs, and Emmett Daniel went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs.

Johnson and Easton Skaggs combined to hold Arab to six hits. Johnson struck out three batters in five innings, and Skaggs struck out one in one inning.

SCIENCE HILL 19, OXFORD 10: Oxford’s Rocco Maniscalco tripled with three RBIs and a run, and Dawson Frames doubled with two RBIs. Charlie Maniscalco doubled and scored a run, and Zach Richardson had a single, a run and an RBI. The Yellow Jackets are 12-7.

CULLMAN 7-10, SOUTHSIDE 3-0: The Panthers fell to 9-6. Alex Brewer went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run in the first game, and Eli Stewart had a single and an RBI. Abe Martin hit a double in the second game.

Softball

MUNFORD 3, KINSTON 1: Madison Arnold pitched a two-hitter with three strikeouts in five innings, and Munford improved to 18-5. She also went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Kastin Lathem went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI, and Jena Gaither went 2-for-2 with a run and an RBI.

OHATCHEE SPLITS: The Indians (12-5) beat East Limestone 3-2 and fell to Mars Hill Bible 6-0.

Makayla Brackett pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts against East Limestone. She also had a single and an RBI.

Asia Keith had a single and an RBI, and Gracie Reed went 2-for-2 with a triple and two runs.

Blaze Steward hit a double against Mars Hill.

WESTBROOK CHRISTIAN DROPS TWO: The Warriors (3-11) fell to Sylvania 7-6 and Ider 8-4.

Parker Borders went 2-for-4 with two RBIs against Sylvania, and Audry Snead went 1-for-4 with two RBIs. Aleya Crossley and M Whitt each had a single and an RBI.

Crossley went 2-for-2 with a double, two RBIs and a run against Ider. Maddie Phillips had a single, a run and an RBI.
